Quote:
{3:106} On the Day [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black, [to them it will be said], "Did you disbelieve after your belief? Then taste the punishment for what you used to reject."
I think that inserting "[when]" after "On the Day" would help readability. I suggest,
{3:106} On the Day [when] are whitened [some] faces (rejoice) and blackened [some] faces (despair). As for those whose faces have blackened, [to them it will be said], "Did you disbelieve after your faith? Then taste the torment for what you have been rejecting."Quote:
{3:107} But as for those whose faces will turn white, [they will be] within the mercy of God. They will abide therein eternally.
I'd translate
ففي directly as "[they will be]
in .." No cause to use "within." I suggest,
{3:107} But as for those whose faces have whitened, then [they will be] in the mercy of God. They therein are lasting.Quote:
{3:108} These are the verses of God. We recite them to you, [O Muhammad], in truth; and God wants no injustice to the worlds.
I suggest,
{3:108} Those are the verses of God. We recite them to you [, O Muhammad,] in truth; and God wants no injustice to the worlds.Quote:
{3:109} To God belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And to God will [all] matters be returned.
I suggest,
{3:109} To God belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And to God are returned [all] matters.
