Quote:
{6:68} And when you see those who engage in [offensive] discourse concerning Our verses, then turn away from them until they enter into another conversion. And if Satan should cause you to forget, then do not remain after the reminder with the wrongdoing people.
"conversion" should be "conversation" or "
talk".
I suggest,
{6:68} And whenever you saw those who rummage through Our verses, then turn aside from them until they delve into another talk. And if Satan should ever cause you to forget, then do not sit, after the reminder, with the wrongdoing folk.Quote:
{6:69} And those who fear God are not held accountable for the disbelievers at all, but [only for] a reminder - that perhaps they will fear Him.
I suggest,
{6:69} And not upon those who watch out [for God] of their reckoning is anything, but [this is] a reminder - that perhaps they might watch out [for God].Quote:
{6:70} And leave those who take their religion as amusement and diversion and whom the worldly life has deluded. But remind with the Quran, lest a soul be dilapidated for what it earned; it will have other than God no protector and no intercessor. And if it should offer every compensation, it would not be taken from it. Those are the ones who are given to destruction for what they have earned. For them will be a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment because they used to disbelieve.
"With the Quran" should be "
with it (the Quran)".
I suggest,
{6:70} And leave those who take their religion for play and distraction and whom [this] the nearest life has deluded. But remind with it (the Quran), lest should be dilapidated a soul for what it earned; not for it, besides God, is any ally nor mediator. And if it should proffer every compensation (ransom), it would not be taken from it. Those are the ones who were dilapidated for what they have earned. For them is a drink of scalding water and a painful torment for they have been disbelieving.
