Quote:
{7:57} And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy until, when they have carried heavy rainclouds, We drive them to a dead land and We send down rain therein and bring forth thereby [some] of all the fruits. Thus will We bring forth the dead; perhaps you may be reminded.

I'd only make a slight edit here because the Arabic refers to the cloud in the singular,

{7:57} And it is He who sends the winds boding between the two hands (ahead) of His mercy until, when they hauled a heavy cloud, We would drive it to a dead acreage, then send down thereby the water then bring out thereby of all fruits. Thus We bring out the dead; perhaps you might remember.

Quote:
{7:58} And the good land - its vegetation emerges by permission of its Lord; but that which is bad - nothing emerges except sparsely, with difficulty. Thus do We diversify the signs for a people who are grateful.

I suggest,
{7:58} And the good acreage - its vegetation emerges by permission of its Lord; but [the acreage] which went wicked (sick soil) - its vegetation does not emerge but lacking. Thus We diversify the signs for a folk who thank.
