That is valid. However, the word literally means to keep in place. That is why the angels are called خزنة جهنم (the keepers of Hell) because they keep its dwellers from escaping it. And a safe is called خزنة because it keeps the money from being stolen.
That said, if we use the word "keepers" for 15:22, it will come across meaning "guardians" when it should mean "holders." So, how about,
{15:22} And We have sent the winds fertilizing, and sent down from the sky water giving it to you to drink and you can never be its holders.
