Quote:
{16:6} And for you in them is [the enjoyment of] beauty when you bring them in [for the evening] and when you send them out [to pasture].

I suggest,
{16:6} And for you in them is beauty when you bring them in to rest and when you go out [with them to pasture].

Quote:
{16:7} And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful.

I suggest,
{16:7} And they carry your heavy loads to a land which you would not be reaching except with hardship of breath. Indeed, your Lord surely is Kind and Merciful.

Quote:
{16:9} And upon God is the direction of the [right] way, and among the various paths are those deviating. And if He willed, He could have guided you all.

Among all the translators, only Ghali faithfully translated جائر as trespassing. This is important because everybody assumes the verse takes about ways and how some of them lead astray, which is a valid interpretation, but the verse could very well be talking about animals and how some of them are wild. The translation "among the various paths" is interpretive. So, I suggest,

{16:9} And upon God is aiming the way, and some of them are trespassing. And if He had willed, He would have guided you all.

One can see that the parable of the animals fits the verse's epilogue: some people are guided and others rebel, much like some animals comply with their owners while others are wild.
