Most translators translated
الأيمن as "the right side" but that doesn't make sense to me. The Arabic word literally means "the fortunate" or "the blessed" side. It is commonly used to indicate the right side, because the Arabs and Islam favor the right side in every matter. M. H. Shakir in his translation, published by Tahrike Tarsile Qur'an, Inc.,Elmhurst, New York, USA, and Shabbir Ahmed in his translation, "The Quran as it Explains Itself" agree with me. I suggest,
