{7:45} Who averted [people] from the way of God and sought to make it [seem] deviant while they were, concerning the Hereafter, disbelievers.
I like Pickthall's translation best. I suggest,
{7:45} Who shun [people] from the way of God and desire it (the way of life) [to be] crooked, and they, of the Hereafter, are disbelievers.
