Quote:
{7:80} And [We had sent] Lot when he said to his people, "Do you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds?

{7:80} And [We had sent] Lot when he said to his people, "Do you commit the debauchery that no one has preceded you with from among the worlds?"

Quote:
{7:81} Indeed, you approach men with desire, instead of women. Rather, you are a transgressing people."

I suggest,
{7:81} "You actually do come up to men with lust, instead of women. Rather, you are an excessive folk."

Quote:
{7:82} But the answer of his people was only that they said, "Evict them from your city! Indeed, they are men who keep themselves pure."

{7:82} Then it was not the answer of his people but that they said, "Evict them from your village! Verily, they are a folk who purify themselves."

Quote:
{7:83} So We saved him and his family, except for his wife; she was of those who remained [with the evildoers].

I suggest,
{7:83} So We rescued him and his family, except for his wife; she was of those left behind.

Quote:
{7:84} And We rained upon them a rain [of stones]. Then see how was the end of the criminals.

I suggest,
{7:84} And We rained upon them a [destructive] rain. So see how was the sequel of the criminals.

I would use "..Lot as he said.."

Indeed. Thanks for catching that.

{7:80} And [We had sent] Lot, as he said to his people, "Do you commit the debauchery that no one has preceded you with from among the worlds?
