Quote:
{7:165} And when they forgot that by which they had been reminded, We saved those who had forbidden evil and seized those who wronged, with a wretched punishment, because they were defiantly disobeying.

I suggest,
{7:165} And when they forgot what they have been reminded of, We rescued those who curb from the wrong and We seized those who wronged with a wretched torment for they have been deviating.

Quote:
{7:166} So when they were insolent about that which they had been forbidden, We said to them, "Be apes, despised."

I suggest,
{7:166} So when they recalcitrated about what they were curbed from, We said to them, "Be apes, outcast."

Quote:
{7:167} And [mention] when your Lord declared that He would surely [continue to] send upon them until the Day of Resurrection those who would afflict them with the worst torment. Indeed, your Lord is swift in penalty; but indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful.

I suggest,
{7:167} And [mention] as your Lord announced that He would surely [continue to] send off upon them until the Day of Resurrection those who would afflict them with the nastiness of torment. Verily, your Lord is swift in punishment; but verily, He surely is much Forgiving, Merciful.

Quote:
{7:168} And We divided them throughout the earth into nations. Of them some were righteous, and of them some were otherwise. And We tested them with good [times] and bad that perhaps they would return [to obedience].

I suggest,
{7:168} And We cut them up throughout the earth into communities. [Some] of them are righteous, and [some] of them are less than that. And We tested them with good and bad things that perhaps they may come back.
