Very nice. The only word that I am not comfortable with is "belying" as it indicates causing the object to be in doubt rather than just personally disbelieving it. The alternative "deniers" is better, although not perfect.

I know what you mean, but I think that there is a difference between something belying and a person belying. When something belies something else, it means that it proves its fallacy, but when a person belies something, it means he denies it.
