Quote:
{74:38} Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained

I suggest,
{74:38} Every soul, for what it has earned, is a bond,

Quote:
{74:39} Except the companions of the right,

I suggest,
{74:39} Except fellows of the right side (virtue),

Quote:
{74:40} [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other

I suggest,
{74:40} [Who will be] in Gardens, asking each other,

Quote:
{74:42} [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?"

I suggest,
{74:42} [Asking the criminals], "What got you into Saqar (Hades)?"

Quote:
{74:43} They will say, "We were not of those who prayed,

I suggest,
{74:43} They will say, "We weren't among the praying,"

Quote:
{74:44} Nor did we used to feed the poor.

I suggest,
{74:44} "And we haven't been feeding the poor."

Quote:
{74:45} And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it],

I suggest,
{74:45} "And we used to indulge with the indulging,"

Quote:
{74:46} And we used to deny the Day of Recompense

I suggest,
{74:46} "And we have been belying the Day of Settlement,"

Quote:
{74:47} Until there came to us the certainty."

I'd only add a quote at the beginning,
{74:47} "Until there came to us the certainty."

Quote:
{74:48} So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors.

I suggest,
{74:48} So there would not benefit them the mediation of mediators.
