Good translation. I'd only change "jinn" to "sprites." There is no need to transliterate when you can translate. So, I suggest,
{72:1} Say [,O Muhammad], "It has been revealed to me that a band of the sprites listened and said, 'Verily, we have heard an amazing Quran.'"

Quote:
{72:2} It guides to the right course, and we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone.

I suggest,
{72:2} "It guides to forthrightness, so we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone [in worship]."

Quote:
{72:3} And [it teaches] that exalted is the nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son

I suggest,
{72:3} "And [it teaches] that exalted is the status of our Lord; He has not taken for Himself a consort (wife) nor a son."

Quote:
{72:4} And that our foolish one has been saying about God an excessive transgression.

I suggest,
{72:4} "And that the foolish one of us has been saying piffle about God."

Quote:
{72:5} And we had thought that mankind and the jinn would never speak about God a lie.

I suggest,
{72:5} "And we had thought that mankind and the sprites would never utter about God a lie."
