Quote:
{71:8} Then I invited them publicly.

I'll only add quotes to indicate that this is part of a larger quote,
{71:8} "Then I invited them publicly."

Quote:
{71:9} Then I announced to them and [also] confided to them secretly

I suggest,
{71:9} "Then I announced to them and [also] confided to them in confidence,"

Quote:
{71:10} And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver.

I suggest,
{71:10} "And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Verily, He has [always] been oft-forgiving.'"

Quote:
{71:11} He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers

Love Daryabadi's translation of مدرارا as "copiously." I suggest,
{71:11} 'He would [then] send [rain from] the sky upon you copiously,'

Quote:
{71:12} And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers.

I suggest,
{71:12} 'And would supply you with properties and children and set up for you gardens and set up for you rivers.'

Quote:
{71:13} What is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to God [due] grandeur

I suggest,
{71:13} 'What is [the matter] with you that you do not long for God reverently?'

Quote:
{71:14} While He has created you in stages?

I suggest,
{71:14} 'While He created you in phases?'
