Quote:
{6:12} Say, "To whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth?" Say, "To God." He has decreed upon Himself mercy. He will surely assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. Those who will lose themselves [that Day] do not believe.
I suggest,
{6:12} Say, "To whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth?" Say, "To God." He has written (decreed) upon Himself mercy. He will surely assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, no doubt about it. Those who lost themselves, and therefore they do not believe.Quote:
{6:13} And to Him belongs that which reposes by night and by day, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
Because
سكن can mean to repose or to reside, I suggest,
{6:13} And to Him belongs what has dwelled in the night and the daytime, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
