Quote:
{6:19} Say, "What thing is greatest in testimony?" Say, "God is witness between me and you. And this Quran was revealed to me that I may warn you thereby and whomever it reaches. Do you [truly] testify that with God there are other deities?" Say, "I will not testify [with you]." Say, "Indeed, He is but one God, and indeed, I am free of what you associate [with Him]."

Great translation. I'd only replace the interjection "truly" with "actually" or "seriously." I'd also add to "associate [with Him]", "associate [others with Him in worship]."

I suggest,
{6:19} Say, "What thing is bigger as a testimony?" Say, "God is witness between me and you. And this Quran was revealed to me that I may forewarn you thereby and whomever it reaches. Do you actually testify that with God there are other deities?" Say, "I do not testify [to that]." Say, "Verily, He is but one God, and verily, I am absolved of what you associate [with Him in worship]."

Quote:
{6:20} Those to whom We have given the Scripture recognize it as they recognize their [own] sons. Those who will lose themselves [in the Hereafter] do not believe.

The italicized pronoun, it, assumes the Arabic pronoun refers to the Quran, which is possible, but it can also refer to Muhammad, peace be upon him. I'd like to make the two possibilities available to the English reader by adding an explanatory note "(or him [Muhammad])". The latter interpretation is enforced by the use of "as they know their sons." So, I suggest,

{6:20} Those to whom We have granted the Book recognize it (the Quran, or him [Muhammad]) as they recognize their [own] sons. Those who lost themselves, therefore they do not believe.

Quote:
{6:21} And who is more unjust than one who invents about God a lie or denies His verses? Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed.

Another of many places where "verses" should be "signs."

I suggest,
{6:21} And who is more unjust than one who has invented about God untruth or belied His signs? Verily, the wrongdoers do not prosper.
