Quote:
{6:27} If you could but see when they are made to stand before the Fire and will say, "Oh, would that we could be returned [to life on earth] and not deny the signs of our Lord and be among the believers."

I suggest,
{6:27} And if you [could] see as they are stood over the Fire; then they said, "Oh, would that we [could] be returned [to life on earth] and not belie the signs of our Lord and be among the believers."

Quote:
{6:28} But what they concealed before has [now] appeared to them. And even if they were returned, they would return to that which they were forbidden; and indeed, they are liars.

I suggest,
{6:28} Rather, there has [now] appeared to them what they had been hiding before. And even if they were returned, they would surely return to what they were forbidden from; and verily, they are liars.

Quote:
{6:29} And they say, "There is none but our worldly life, and we will not be resurrected."

I suggest,
{6:29} And they said, "It is but our nearest life (this world), and we are not at all to be sent off (resurrected)."

Quote:
{6:30} If you could but see when they will be made to stand before their Lord. He will say, "Is this not the truth?" They will say, "Yes, by our Lord." He will [then] say, "So taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve."

I suggest,
{6:30} And if you [could] see when they are stood before their Lord. He would say, "Is this not the truth?" They would say, "Yea, by our Lord." He would [then] say, "Then taste the torment for that you have been disbelieving."
