I'd translate زينا as "made ... look good." "Pleasing" conveys the same meaning but it goes further toward satisfaction, which is not a semantic of زينا, which only means "pleasing to the eyes."

I suggest,
{6:108} And do not berate those they invoke besides God, lest they berate God infringingly without knowledge. Thus We have embellished for every community their works. And then to their Lord is their return, then He informs them about what they have been doing.
