Quote:
{6:128} And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day when He will gather them together [and say], "O company of jinn, you have [misled] many of mankind." And their allies among mankind will say, "Our Lord, some of us made use of others, and we have [now] reached our term, which you appointed for us." He will say, "The Fire is your residence, wherein you will abide eternally, except for what God wills. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing."
I suggest,
{6:128} And [beware] the Day when He gathers them together [and says], "O company of sprites, you have certainly done much [misleading] to mankind." And their allies among mankind will have said, "Our Lord, we took advantage of each other, and we have [now] reached our term, which you have appointed for us." He would say, "The Fire is your dwelling, lasting therein, save what God has willed. Verily, your Lord is Wise, All-Knowing."Quote:
{6:129} And thus will We make some of the wrongdoers allies of others for what they used to earn.
I suggest,
{6:129} And thus We ally the wrongdoers to each other for what they have been earning [of sin].Quote:
{6:130} "O company of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves"; and the worldly life had deluded them, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.
I suggest,
{6:130} "O company of sprites and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from among you, reciting to you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this your Day?" They would say, "We have testified against ourselves"; and has deluded them [this] the nearest life, and they will have testified against themselves that they had been disbelievers.Quote:
{6:131} That is because your Lord would not destroy the cities for wrongdoing while their people were unaware.
The Arabic says "
towns" or "villages", not cities.
I suggest,
{6:131} That is because your Lord would not be destroying the towns for wrongdoing while their people were unaware [of His Message].
