Thus does God place defilement upon those who do not believe. An excellent translation, except that I believe that the "lamm" in للإسلام means "for" not "to." So, I suggest, {6:125} So whoever God wants to guide - He opens up his bosom for Islam; and whoever He wants to let stray - He makes his bosom narrow, constricted as though he were climbing into the sky. Thus does God place defilement upon those who do not believe. Quote: {6:126} And this is the path of your Lord, [leading] straight. We have detailed the verses for a people who remember. I suggest, {6:126} And this is the path of your Lord, [leading] straight. We certainly have detailed the verses for a folk who remember. Quote: {6:127} For them will be the Home of Peace with their Lord. And He will be their protecting friend because of what they used to do. I suggest, {6:127} For them is [going to be] the Home of Peace with their Lord. And He is their ally because of what they have been doing. |
