Quote:
{6:147} So if they deny you, [O Muhammad], say, "Your Lord is the possessor of vast mercy; but His punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals."

I suggest,
{6:147} So if they have belied you [, O Muhammad], then say, "Your Lord is One with vast mercy; but His affliction is not (cannot be) repelled from the criminal folk."

Quote:
{6:148} Those who associated with God will say, "If God had willed, we would not have associated [anything] and neither would our fathers, nor would we have prohibited anything." Likewise did those before deny until they tasted Our punishment. Say, "Do you have any knowledge that you can produce for us? You follow not except assumption, and you are not but falsifying."

I'd edit this slightly,
{6:148} Those who have associated [in worship others] with God will say, "If God had willed, we would not have associated and neither [would have] our fathers, nor would we have prohibited anything." Likewise did those before them belie until they tasted Our affliction. Say, "Do you have any knowledge so you may produce for us? You follow but conjecture, and you but guess."

Quote:
{6:149} Say, "With God is the far-reaching argument. If He had willed, He would have guided you all."

I'll make a slight edit in order to distinguish أجمعين from جميعا. I suggest,

{6:149} Say, "With God is the far-reaching argument, for if He had willed, He surely would have guided you all in all."
