I suggest,

{5:9} God has promised those who have believed and done the righteous [deeds] [that] for them is a forgiveness and a great reward.

{5:10} And those who have disbelieved and belied Our signs - those are the inmates of the Abyss.

{5:11} O you who have believed, remember the favor of God upon you when a folk resolved to unfold toward you their hands (attack), then He withheld their hands from you; and watch out for God. And upon God then let rely the believers.
