Quote:
{5:67} O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And God will protect you from the people. Indeed, God does not guide the disbelieving people.

I suggest,
{5:67} O Messenger, convey what has been sent down to you from your Lord. And if you did not, then you would not have conveyed His message. And God shields you from people. Verily, God does not guide disbelieving folk.

Quote:
{5:68} Say, "O People of the Scripture, you are [standing] on nothing until you uphold [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord." And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people.

I suggest,
{5:68} Say, "O People of the Book, you are not upon anything until you uphold the Torah, the Gospel and what has been sent down to you from your Lord." And surely what has been sent down to you [, O Muhammad,] will increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. So, do not mourn for the disbelieving folk.

Quote:
{5:69} Indeed, those who have believed [in Prophet Muhammad] and those [before Him] who were Jews or Sabeans or Christians - those [among them] who believed in God and the Last Day and did righteousness - no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.

The interjection "before him" is an interpretation and we try here to stick to the text without attempting to interpret it. So, I suggest,

{5:69} Verily, those who have believed, those who came back apologizing (the Jews), Sabeans and Christians - those [of them] who believed in God and the Final Day and did a righteous [deed] - then no fear shall there be upon them nor shall they grieve.
