{60:3} Never will your relatives or your children benefit you; the Day of Resurrection He will judge between you. And God, of what you do, is Seeing.

That translation neglects an interesting syntactic ambiguity in the verse, namely, that "the Day of Resurrection" could belong to the first sentence instead of starting a new one! I suggest,

{60:3} Never will your womb relations nor your children benefit you [on] the Day of Resurrection He adjudicates between you. And God, of what you do, is All-Seeing.

Quote:
{60:4} There has already been for you an excellent pattern in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people, "Indeed, we are disassociated from you and from whatever you worship other than God. We have denied you, and there has appeared between us and you animosity and hatred forever until you believe in God alone" except for the saying of Abraham to his father, "I will surely ask forgiveness for you, but I have not [power to do] for you anything against God. Our Lord, upon You we have relied, and to You we have returned, and to You is the destination.

I suggest,
{60:4} There has already been for you a beautiful model in Abraham and those with him, as they said to their people, "Verily, we are absolved of you and of what you worship other than God. We have rejected you, and there has appeared between us and you enmity and acrimony forever until you believe in God alone" - except for the saying of Abraham to his father, "I will surely ask forgiveness for you, but I do not possess for you with God any [influence]. Our Lord, upon You we have relied, and to You we have turned, and to You is the destination."

Quote:
{60:5} Our Lord, make us not [objects of] torment for the disbelievers and forgive us, our Lord. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise."

I suggest,
{60:5} "Our Lord, do not make us an enticement for those who have disbelieved and forgive us, our Lord. Verily, it is You who are the Almighty, the Wise."

Quote:
{60:6} There has certainly been for you in them an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in God and the Last Day. And whoever turns away - then indeed, God is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.

I suggest,
{60:6} There has certainly been for you in them a beautiful model for whoever has been hoping for God and the Final Day. And whoever turns away - then verily, God is the Need-Free, the Praiseworthy.
