Quote:
{4:15} Those who commit unlawful sexual intercourse of your women - bring against them four [witnesses] from among you. And if they testify, confine the guilty women to houses until death takes them or God ordains for them [another] way.

I suggest,
{4:15} Those of your women who commit the abhorrent [sin], bring against them four [witnesses] from among you. And if they (the witnesses) testify, confine them (the guilty women) in the homes until death recalls them or God makes for them a way [out].

Quote:
{4:16} And the two who commit it among you, dishonor them both. But if they repent and correct themselves, leave them alone. Indeed, God is ever Accepting of repentance and Merciful.

I'm not sure "dishonor them" is the right translation. The Arabic word means "hurt them."

Also, "leave them alone" is not quite right though it is the result of what the Arabic says to do. I suggest, "stay away from them." "Leave them alone" has the unfortunate connotation of allowing them to be alone together again!

I suggest,
{4:16} And the two [men] who commit it among you, hurt them both. But if they repent and correct themselves, turn your sides to them (do not bother them). Indeed, God is ever Accepting of repentance and Merciful.

Excellent translation.

I would say "harm them" rather than "hurt them."

OK, I suggest,

{4:15} Those of your women who commit the debauchery [of homosexual intercourse], bring to witness against them four of you. And if they (the witnesses) have testified, then hold them (the guilty women) in the homes until death recalls them or God makes for them a way [out].

{4:16} And the two men who commit it among you, then hurt them both. But if they repented and reformed, then turn your sides to them (do not bother them). Verily, God has ever been Accepting of repentance, Merciful.
