I suggest,
{4:95} Not equal are the sitters (remaining at home) of the believers - other than the ones with affliction - and the strugglers in the way of God with their wealth and themselves. God has preferred the strugglers through their wealth and themselves over the sitters a degree. And to both God has promised the best [reward]. But God has preferred the strugglers over the sitters with a great reward -
Two suggestions:
1. 'via' instead of 'with' and 'through' as it fits both contexts. If not, I'd bite the bullet and use 'with' in both instances although the second context makes that word ambiguous.
2. 'And' instead of 'But' as the opener of the last sentence.
