I suggest,

{4:101} And whenever you have ventured in the land, then there is no violation upon you that you shorten the prayer, if you fear that those who have disbelieved would incite you. Verily, the disbelievers have [always] been to you a clear enemy.

{4:102} And whenever you [, O Muhammad,] have been among them then instated for them the prayer, then let stand a bevy of them with you and let them take their weapons. Then when they have prostrated, let them be aft of you and let come another bevy [which] has not [yet] prayed and let them pray with you, and let them take their precaution and their weapons. Those who have disbelieved would love [it] if you would become inattentive to your weapons and your supplies so they would swoop against you one swoop. And there is no violation upon you, if there may be with you a bother because of rain or you have been ill, that you may put down your weapons, but take your precaution. Verily, God has prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating torment.

{4:103} And when you have concluded the prayer, then remember God standing, sitting, and [lying] on your sides. Then when you have become safe, then establish the prayer [normally]. Verily, prayer has been upon the believers a prescription timed.
