{48:18} Certainly was God pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you, [O Muhammad], under the tree, and He knew what was in their hearts, so He sent down tranquility upon them and rewarded them with an imminent conquest

{48:18} Certainly was God pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you [, O Muhammad], under the tree, and He knew what is in their hearts, so He sent down tranquility upon them and rewarded them with an imminent opening,

Quote:
{48:19} And much war booty which they will take. And ever is God Exalted in Might and Wise.

The word مغانم is not restricted to war booty. I suggest,
{48:19} And much booty to take. And ever is God Invincible and Wise.

Quote:
{48:20} God has promised you much booty that you will take [in the future] and has hastened for you this [victory] and withheld the hands of people from you - that it may be a sign for the believers and [that] He may guide you to a straight path.

The interjection "in the future" is redundant. I suggest,
{48:20} God has promised you much booty to take, hastened for you this and withheld the hands of people from you - that it may be a sign for the believers and [that] He may guide you to a straight path.

Quote:
{48:21} And [He promises] other [victories] that you were [so far] unable to [realize] which God has already encompassed. And ever is God, over all things, competent.

The interjection "so far" is redundant. I suggest,
{48:21} And [He promises] other [victories] that you did not achieve which God has already encompassed. And ever is God, over everything, Powerful.
