Quote:
{47:14} So is he who is on clear evidence from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work has been made attractive and they follow their [own] desires?
I suggest,
{47:14} So is he who has been on clear evidence from his Lord like him for whom has been embellished the evil of his work and they followed their fancies?Quote:
{47:15} Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of] those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines?
This verse does not start with a rhetorical question, but ends with one. So, I suggest,
{47:15} [This is] the example of the Garden, which has been promised the watchful [of God]. In it are rivers of water not altering, rivers of milk the taste of which has never changed, rivers of ferment of deliciousness to drinkers, and rivers of honey percolated, in which they have from all fruits and forgiveness from their Lord. [Is that] like him who is lasting in the Fire and are imbued scalding water which then ruptured their intestines?
