Quote:
{42:24} Or do they say, "He has invented about God a lie"? But if God willed, He could seal over your heart. And God eliminates falsehood and establishes the truth by His words. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.

I suggest,
{42:24} Or do they say, "He has invented about God a lie"? But if God willed, He would have sealed your heart up. And God erases falsehood and ratifies the truth by His words. Verily, He is All-Knowing of what is within bosoms.

Quote:
{42:25} And it is He who accepts repentance from his servants and pardons misdeeds, and He knows what you do.

I suggest,
{42:25} And it is He who accepts repentance from His worshipers and pardons misdeeds, and He knows what you do.

Quote:
{42:26} And He answers [the supplication of] those who have believed and done righteous deeds and increases [for] them from His bounty. But the disbelievers will have a severe punishment.

Nearly all translators have understood يستجيب to mean the same thing as يجيب, but it doesn't. The former means to reply to an invitation while the latter means to reply to supplication (answer a prayer). The consequence of this is that the translators made "those who believe" an accusative when it should have been the subject. Only The Monotheist Group got the correct syntax IMHO. So, I suggest,
{42:26} And answering are those who have believed and done the righteous [deeds] and He increases [for] them from His bounty. But the disbelievers - for them is a fierce torment.
