Quote:
{41:9} Say, "Do you indeed disbelieve in He who created the earth in two days and attribute to Him equals? That is the Lord of the worlds."

I suggest,
{41:9} Say, "Do you indeed disbelieve in [Him] who created the earth in two days - and set up for Him equals? That is the Lord of the worlds!"

Quote:
{41:10} And He placed on the earth firmly set mountains over its surface, and He blessed it and determined therein its [creatures'] sustenance in four days without distinction - for [the information] of those who ask.

I suggest,
{41:10} And He set up in it anchors (mountains) above it, and He blessed it and determined therein its nourishments in four days plainly for the asking.

Quote:
{41:11} Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, "Come [into being], willingly or by compulsion." They said, "We have come willingly."

There is a subtle grammatical point in this verse that has not been addressed by any of the translations I looked at. The command from God is to two creatures: the heaven and the earth. When they replied, they used the plural conjugation. The translation should include that to be faithful to the Arabic. So, I suggest,
{41:11} Then He attended to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, "Come [both], willingly or forcibly." They [both] said, "We have [all] come obediently."

Quote:
{41:12} And He completed them as seven heavens within two days and inspired in each heaven its command. And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and as protection. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

I suggest,
{41:12} And He decreed them seven heavens in two days and revealed in each heaven its affair. And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and as guard. That is the precision of the Mighty, the All-Knowing.
