Quote:
{39:1} The revelation of the Quran is from God, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

I suggest,
{39:1} The send-down of the Book [is] from God, the Unbeatable, the Wise.

Quote:
{39:3} Unquestionably, for God is the pure religion. And those who take protectors besides Him [say], "We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to God in position." Indeed, God will judge between them concerning that over which they differ. Indeed, God does not guide he who is a liar and [confirmed] disbeliever.

I suggest,
{39:3} Hear ye, to God belongs the pure religion. And those who take besides Him allies [say], "We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to God in status." Verily, God judges between them concerning that over which they differ. Verily, God does not guide him who is a liar and an [unrepentant] disbeliever.

A couple of translations understood ألا as an interrogative! That is certainly born by the Arabic, in which case the first sentence would be, "Ought not the pure religion belong to God?". However, it's not a familiar Arabic style. That meaning would normally be put this way, أليس لله الدين الخالص؟
