, it is quite cryptic. I can't help but make an exception here to explain the verse a bit. I suggest something like Sarwar did, i.e.,
{38:34} And We did try Solomon and threw on his footrest a [dead] body [of his son]. He came back [to Us repenting].Quote:
{38:37} And [also] the devils [of jinn] - every builder and diver
No need for the interjection "[of jinn]."
Quote:
{38:40} And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return.
I suggest,
{38:40} And, verily, for him with Us is closeness and a beautiful place of return.
