Quote:
{35:32} Then we caused to inherit the Book those We have chosen of Our servants; and among them is he who wrongs himself, and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of God. That [inheritance] is what is the great bounty.
I'd only remove the interjection "[inheritance]" as it is an interpretation, though it's a good interpretation. Anoter valid interpretation is that the great bounty referred to here is the permission of God to those who race to do good deeds. I suggest,
{35:32} Then we caused to inherit the Book those We have chosen of Our worshipers; and among them is he who wrongs himself, and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of God. That is what is the big bounty.Quote:
{35:33} [For them are] gardens of perpetual residence which they will enter. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk.
Excellent translation, but I like to copy over the word
عدن because it is familiar to the reader, so I suggest,
{35:33} [For them are] gardens of Eden (perpetual bliss) which they will enter. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk.Quote:
{35:34} And they will say, "Praise to God, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative -
Great translation. I'd only add a bit to it as follows,
{35:34} And they will say, "Praise to God, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is oft Forgiving, much Appreciative -"Quote:
{35:35} He who has settled us in the home of duration out of His bounty. There touches us not in it any fatigue, and there touches us not in it weariness [of mind]."
I suggest,
{35:35} "He who has placed us in the home of duration out of His bounty. Therein does not touch us fatigue, and therein does not touch us not weariness."
