Quote:
{34:12} And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind - its morning [journey was that of] a month - and its afternoon [journey was that of] a month, and We made flow for him a spring of [liquid] copper. And among the jinn were those who worked for him by the permission of his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our command - We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze.

I suggest,
{34:12} And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind - its coming a month [worth] and its going a month [worth]. And We liquefied for him the spring of brass. And of the sprites are [some] who worked between his hands (in front of him) by permission of his Lord; and whoever swerves of them from Our command - We make him taste of the torment of the Blaze.

Quote:
{34:13} They made for him what he willed of elevated chambers, statues, bowls like reservoirs, and stationary kettles. [We said], "Work, O family of David, in gratitude." And few of My servants are grateful.

I suggest,
{34:13} They make for him what he willed of niches, statues, basins like wells and stationary cauldrons. [We said,] "Work, O family of David, in thanksgiving." And few of My worshipers are thankful.

Quote:
{34:14} And when We decreed for Solomon death, nothing indicated to the jinn his death except a creature of the earth eating his staff. But when he fell, it became clear to the jinn that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in humiliating punishment.

I suggest,
{34:14} And when We decreed upon him death, nothing indicated to them his death, but the earthworm, eating his cane. Then once he fell down, the sprites became clear that if they had been knowing of the Beyond, they would not have stayed in the humiliating torment (the hard labor).
