Quote:
{2:139} Say, [O Muhammad], "Do you argue with us about God while He is our Lord and your Lord? For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. And we are sincere [in deed and intention] to Him."

This command is not to Muhammad alone, peace be upon him. So, the interjection is unfounded. The other interjection is more like an explanatory note, but is rather redundant. I suggest,

{2:139} Say, "Do you rebut us about God while He is our Lord and your Lord? And for us are our works, and for you are your works. And we are to Him sincere."

Quote:
{2:140} Or do you say that Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants were Jews or Christians? Say, "Are you more knowing or is God?" And who is more unjust than one who conceals a testimony he has from God? And God is not unaware of what you do.

It's better English not to repeat "and," i.e., "or do you say that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the descendants ..." Also, there is no reason to capitalize "the Descendants" as we mentioned in the previous topic when we commented on the translation of 2:136. I suggest,

{2:140} Or do you say that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the grandsons were Jews or Christians? Say, "Are you more knowing or is God?" And who is more unjust than one who has suppressed a testimony he has from God? And God is not in the slightest unaware of what you do.

Quote:
{2:141} That is a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.

We suggested the following for 2:134 before and we do again here,

{2:141} That is a community already passed on. For it is what it earned, and for you is what you earned. And you are not asked about what they were doing.
