Quote:
{24:55} God has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that - then those are the defiantly disobedient.

I suggest,
{24:55} God has promised those who have believed among you and done the righteous [deeds] that He will surely depute them in the land as He deputed those before them and that He will surely enable for them their religion which He has approved for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me; they do not associate with Me anything [in worship]. But whoever disbelieves after that - then those are the deviant.

Quote:
{24:56} And establish prayer and give zakah and obey the Messenger - that you may receive mercy.

I suggest,
{24:56} And establish prayer, give alms and obey the Messenger - that you may be granted mercy.

Quote:
{24:57} Never think that the disbelievers are causing failure [to God] upon the earth. Their refuge will be the Fire - and how wretched the destination.

I suggest,
{24:57} Never think that the disbelievers are out-powering in the land. And their refuge will be the Fire - and how surely wretched the destination!
