Quote:
{22:42} And if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - so, before them, did the people of Noah and `Aad and Thamud deny [their prophets],
I suggest,
{22:42} And if they belie you, [O Muhammad,] so did before them the people of Noah and [the tribes of] `Aad and Thamood (belie their prophets),Quote:
{22:44} And the inhabitants of Madyan. And Moses was denied, so I prolonged enjoyment for the disbelievers; then I seized them, and how [terrible] was My reproach.
I suggest,
{22:44} And the dwellers of Midian, and Moses was belied. So I indulged the disbelievers; then I seized them, so how was [My] repudiation?!Quote:
{22:45} And how many a city did We destroy while it was committing wrong - so it is [now] fallen into ruin - and [how many] an abandoned well and [how many] a lofty palace.
I suggest,
{22:45} And how many a town did We destroy while it was unjust - so it is [now] drooped on its trellises - and [how many] an unused well and [how many] a stuccoed palace?Quote:
{22:46} So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.
I suggest,
{22:46} Did they not then walk through the land and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that become blind, but blinded are the hearts which are in bosoms.
