While "your mention" is a valid translation of ذِكركم, I don't agree that it is the right translation here. We've seen God refer to the Quran and the prior scripture as الذِكر (the Reminder) in many verses, and I believe that it the relevant semantic here as well. I suggest,
{21:10} We have certainly sent down to you a Book in which is your reminder. Will you then not reason?

Quote:
{21:11} And how many a city which was unjust have We shattered and produced after it another people.

I suggest,
{21:11} And how many a town have We broken that was unjust, and initiated after it other folk.

Quote:
{21:12} And when its inhabitants perceived Our punishment, at once they fled from it.

I suggest,
{21:12} And when they felt Our ordeal, behold, [away] from it they run.

Quote:
{21:13} [Some angels said], "Do not flee but return to where you were given luxury and to your homes -- perhaps you will be questioned."

I suggest,
{21:13} Do not run, but return to where you have been luxuriated and your homes - perhaps you will be questioned.

Quote:
{21:15} And that declaration of theirs did not cease until We made them [as] a harvest [mowed down], extinguished [like a fire].

I suggest,
{21:15} And that kept being their call, until We made them stagnant mow.
