I love the translation "categories"! But, unfortunately, it's not a linguistic one. I suggest,
{20:53} [It is He] who has made for you the earth a pavement, cleared up therein for you roadways, sent down from the sky, water and produced thereby pairs of various plants.

Quote:

{20:55} From the earth We created you, and into it We will return you, and from it We will extract you another time.

I suggest,
{20:55} From it (the earth) We created you, and into it We return you, and from it We bring you out another time.
