{19:34} That is Jesus, the son of Mary - the word of truth about which they are in dispute.

I suggest,
{19:34} That is Jesus, the son of Mary - the word of truth about whom they dispute.

Quote:
{19:35} It is not [befitting] for God to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.

I suggest,
{19:35} It is not [befitting] for God to take a son; sanctified is He! When He decrees a matter, verily, He [only] says to it, "Be," and it is.

The Arabic wording bears both translations, but I would be more inclined towards "which" rather than "whom" since the verb used seems to fit objects that are things more than objects that are persons.

I mulled that over for a while. The dispute has always been about the man, more so than about what was said about him. That's why I chose "whom." Interestingly, the Arabic also supports that the dispute is about the truth or about the word of truth.

I'll think about it some more.
