Quote:
{13:31} And if there was any quran by which the mountains would be removed or the earth would be broken apart or the dead would be made to speak, [it would be this Quran], but to God belongs the affair entirely. Then have those who believed not accepted that had God willed, He would have guided the people, all of them? And those who disbelieve do not cease to be struck, for what they have done, by calamity - or it will descend near their home - until there comes the promise of God. Indeed, God does not fail in [His] promise.
I suggest,
{13:31} And [people say] if [only the Quran were] a recitation by which were moved the mountains, by which was torn the earth and by which is conversed with the dead. Nay, to God belongs the command entirely. Then have those who believed not given up [wishes and accepted] that if God [so] wills, He would have guided the people, all of them? And those who have been ungrateful do not cease to be struck, for what they have done, by calamity - or it lands near their home - until there comes the promise of God. Indeed, God does not fail in [His] promise.
