Quote:
{13:35} The example of Paradise, which the righteous have been promised, is [that] beneath it rivers flow. Its fruit is lasting, and its shade. That is the consequence for the righteous, and the consequence for the disbelievers is the Fire.

I suggest,
{13:35} [This is] the semblance of the Garden, which is promised the watchful [of God]: Flowing beneath it are rivers, its esculents are permanent and [so is] its shade. That is the sequel for those who watched out [for God], and the sequel for the disbelievers is the Fire.

Quote:
{13:36} And [the believers among] those to whom We have given the [previous] Scripture rejoice at what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], but among the [opposing] factions are those who deny part of it. Say, "I have only been commanded to worship God and not associate [anything] with Him. To Him I invite, and to Him is my return."

I suggest,
{13:36} And those to whom We granted the Book rejoice at what has been sent down to you [, O Muhammad,] but among the factions are those who deny some of it. Say, "I have only been commanded to worship God and not associate [in worship anything] with Him. To Him I invite, and to Him is [my] return."
