{12:61} They said, "We will approach his father about him, and indeed we will do [that]."

{12:62} And [Joseph] said to his boys, "Put their merchandise into their saddlebags so they might recognize it when they have gone back to their people that perhaps they will return."

I don't think that "approach" is a correct translation; it's too mild. The Arabic verb implies a maneuver.

I realized I was inconsistent so here is a revised version:

{12:62} And [Joseph] said to his boys, "Put their merchandise into their saddlebags, so they may recognize it when they have gone back to their people, so they may return."
