{12:64} He said, "Should I entrust you with him except [under coercion] as I entrusted you with his brother before? But God is the best guardian, and He is the most merciful of the merciful."

I don't understand the intrejection "[under coercion]", so I suggest removing it.

{12:64} He said, "Should I entrust you with him except as I entrusted you with his brother before? But God is the best guardian, and He is the most merciful of the merciful."

Agreed.

I would use "Would" instead of "Should" and also use "God is good a guardian"

For consistency with the translation of a previous verse (12:12), I suggest

{12:63} So when they returned to their father, they said, "O our father, [further] measure has been denied to us, so send with us our brother [that] we will be given measure, and we are certainly going to be guarding him."

I agree that "would" is better, but "is good" I think is insufficient given the context. The context in the preceding verse is that the brothers promised their father that they will guard Benjamin. Jacob wasn't so sure about that, but he comforted himself with the knowledge that God is a better guardian.

I suggest,
{12:64} He said, "Would I entrust you with him except as I entrusted you with his brother before? But God is a better guardian, and He is the most Merciful of the merciful."
