Quote:
{11:48} It was said, "O Noah, disembark in security from Us and blessings upon you and upon nations [descending] from those with you. But other nations [of them] We will grant enjoyment; then there will touch them from Us a painful punishment."

I suggest,
{11:48} It was said, "O Noah, disembark with peace from Us and blessings upon you and upon nations from those with you. But other nations [of them] We will extend comfort to them then will touch them from Us a painful torment."

Quote:
{11:49} That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you, [O Muhammad]. You knew it not, neither you nor your people, before this. So be patient; indeed, the [best] outcome is for the righteous.

Love the translation of العاقبة as "the [best] outcome." I'd only make a few minor changes as follows,
{11:49} That is from the news of the unknown which which We reveal to you [, O Muhammad]. You did not know it, you nor your people, before this. So, be patient; indeed the [best] outcome is for the watchful [of God].

The verb translated into "touch" can probably be translated better as "reach" or "get to."
