Quote: {11:59} And that was `Aad, who rejected the signs of their Lord and disobeyed His messengers and followed the order of every obstinate tyrant. I suggest, {11:59} And that was Aad. They rejected the signs of their Lord, disobeyed His messengers and followed the order of every obstinate tyrant. Quote: {11:60} And they were [therefore] followed in this world with a curse and [as well] on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, `Aad denied their Lord; then away with `Aad, the people of Hud. The language in this verse is wrathful. In order to translate the verse correctly, we must translate ألا correctly, and that's not always easy. I suggest, {11:60} And they were followed in this world with a curse and on the Day of Resurrection. Hear ye, verily, Aad denied their Lord. Hear ye, away with Aad, the people of Huud. |
