Dr. Mustafa Zayd, in his book النسخ في القرآن الكريم, volume 2, pages 264-265 (item 1153), wrote that Ibn Zayd claimed that  was abrogated by the sword verse and by  Dr. Zayd quickly rejects this claim on the basis of no contradiction, statements of fact and the arguments he elaborated about the sword verse. I certainly agree with him. |
