He adds that even Ibn Hazm Al-Andalusi and Ibn Salaama said there was no abrogation here. They said that the consensus of all exegetes, except Ibn Zayd, is that there is no abrogation here.
I wish any of those folks mentioned why Ibn Zayd said that, what was his argument? Since the two verses are identical except for their epilogues, the only conclusion from an abrogation claim is that the clause
إن الإنسان لظلوم كفار (verily, man surely is oft unjust and ungrateful) is no longer valid!
