Ibn Al-Jawzi reports that

was claimed abrogated by the next verse,

He sharply rejects this claim saying,

He is right of course. We have a free will and that would not have been possible if it weren't for the will of God to let us have a free will.

Similar to the previous post, Ibn Al-Jawzi reports that the verses,

And

And

were claimed abrogated by

He refers to his argument quoted in the previous post and writes,

Al-Khazraji, in his book نفس الصباح في غريب القرآن وناسخه ومنسوخه, volume 2, page 777, backs up the claim that 81:28 was abrogated but he said it was abrogated by the next verse,

He attributes the claim to Ibn Salaama.
