Quote:
{106:1} For the accustomed security of the Quraysh -

I suggest,
{106:1} For the appeasement of [the tribe of] Quraysh.

Quote:
{106:2} Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer -

I suggest,
{106:2} Appeasing them with the [trading] trips of winter and summer.

Quote:
{106:3} Let them worship the Lord of this House,

I suggest,
{106:3} They should worship the Lord of this House,

I am reading the meaning of the verse differently. It is not "appeasing them with the trips" but rather "the way they are appeased with the trips." In other words, if Quraish wants to be appeased the way they are appeased with these trips, they should worship the Lord..., etc.

Interesting reading and quite valid too.

I think you're right. So, I suggest,
{106:2} [Like] their appeasement [during their] winter and summer (trading) trip.
